This covers the waitlist site at backsight.app. The Backsight app itself is on-device, end-to-end encrypted, and accountless: we can't read your notes.
What we collect
Join the waitlist and we store your email address and the date: nothing else. We also keep a rough source (the referring site, or a campaign tag) so we know which channels work. No profile, no cross-site tracking.
How it's used
One email, at launch. Your address sits in our own database (Cloudflare D1), never sold, shared, or added to a newsletter. Email [email protected] anytime to be removed.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics in consent mode: no analytics cookies until you accept the banner, and you can decline. It's the only analytics on the site: no other trackers, pixels, or ad networks. Declining doesn't affect joining the waitlist.
Spam protection
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Not an ad or cross-site tracker.
